Your Next Must-Try Local Food Spot in North County SD for Date-Night

If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a bit a of a foodie.

I love to find new local food spots.

So today, I wanted to share with you one of my fave local food spots in North County because I simply adore their atmosphere.

It’s called Cork & Craft, located in Rancho Bernardo. Have you been? If not, you must try it at least once.

Here’s why, aside from having a well-rounded brunch, bar, lunch and dinner menu, their food and drinks are phenomenal.

Their entrée’s are made up of small portions yet they’re perfect for me as I prefer to taste a little bit of everything without feeling stuffed.

Price wise, it’s not cheap and expect to at least spend a minimum of $100 for 2 people on appetizers, entrée’s + drinks, not including dessert.

Now, let me tell you about what I’ve tasted so far at this local food spot:

  1. Craft Burger + Tater Tots – It’s amazing, it takes me back to being a kid and wanting a second helping of tater tots.

  2. Garlic Noodles

  3. Jolly Good Mac

  4. Tater Tot Poutine

  5. Another dish I love and cannot get enough of is their shrimp scampi, the sauce is quite tasty and unforgettable. I honestly crave it for dinners and it’s a must try dish.
  6. Oh and I cannot forget their braised short rib; it literally just melts in your mouth. This dish definitely needs to go on your ‘must try list’ for local food spots.

Aside from all the food talk, they also have nice list of wine, cider and beer.

They literally have a little bit of everything for everyone’s taste palate.

It’s really a great spot for date night.

If you have any other recommendations up in North County that I should try let me know in the comments. I’m always looking for good local food spots.
